I fully plan to watch tvN Mon-Tues rom-com No Gain No Love with Shin Mina and Kim Young Dae, just haven’t had time to start yet. Early reviews have been good so far, and seems like polarizing than same network different time slot rom-com Love Next Door which has stronger feelings either way of loving or disliking it. No Gain No Love got a lot of extra news write ups this weekend with the reveal that K-actor Byun Woo Seok will be making a cameo in the drama. It will be his first time back on the small screen since his breakout in April with Lovely Runner. His summer scandal with the airport private security overreach seems to have fully died down so onwards to continuing his many opportunities ahead.

When was that cameo shot? Last year or this year? This drama is a pleasant surprise. FL is fantastic, and the male lead is doing better than expected.
He filmed it in winter at the end of last year. So this was way before Lovely Runner aired.
Nice surprise for the drama that in the interim he has become one of the hottest stars in South Korea and his friendly little cameo is now giving the drama lots of publicity!😃
Romantic comedies are really back in fashion in 2024. So many airing this year with 4 airing right now alongside this drama(Love Next Door, Cinderella @ 2am, Bad Memory Eraser, DNA Lover)
I keep hearing good comments about this drama so I might give it a watch. Happy for the lovely Shin Min Ah and willing to give KYD a chance. I don’t like noona-dongsaeng romances but I don’t mind it so much here as I think it makes sense for the plot set-up.
I’m glad Shin Min-ah is back with a good project. I have not watched it yet, but I assume it is because of the reviews I’ve been reading about the show. She has always been a charismatic actress, most especially in romcoms. I bet the production company is happy about the additional publicity from Byeon Woo Seok’s cameo 🙂
BWS has 10 CFs now and it is rumored that 8 more are coming. Wow haven’t seen such sudden fame for a while.
This show is so good! I was all excited about Love Next Door and intrigued by Cinderella at 2 am but it’s No Gain No Love that has stolen my heart this fall. I’m counting down the days before each episode already! Excited to hear you’re going to try it – hope you like it too!
His cameo as a part timer looks fun!😆 This drama has the same director as ‘Strong Girl Nam Soon’ so I guess he is doing the cameo as a favour to him.

Shin Mina never disappoints. I always get the warm fuzzy feels watching her in comedies. First two episodes were so good already. Third episode is a hoot. :)) KDY is doing a doing a darn good job bringing that air of mystery to his character.

Shin Min Ah’s dramas and movies are all great. She is Beautiful and talented. I love her dimples when she smiles. The best comedy was Oh My Venus… I got stomachache from laughing plus So ji sub was excellent there too. You should watch No Gain No Love… so far At Episode 2.. You will not be disappointed.
