It feels like a busy few weeks with casting news and currently waiting to air drama promos. Another casting rumor is out that C-actress Yu Shu Xin has been offered the female lead in C-drama Double Track, adapted from the same name novel by writer Shi Jiu Yuan. It’s a modern romance about two kids who grew up together as brother and sister but are not blood related, the brother was adopted by the dad as the orphan of his dead best friend and then the dad had the daughter with his wife. The parents then divorced and the two kids were separated hence growing up on double (or parallel) tracks. It’s basically Autumn in My Heart and the only question on the faux-cest is whether the two kids knew they were NOT blood related from the get-go or learned later in life. There is also talk that the production is in talks with Chen Zhe Yuan as the male lead but he’s just signed on for the period C-drama Flower in Novoland with Zhang Jing Yi starting filming in November so I’m not sure if he’ll also do this one due to scheduling.
As long as the ending is not like Autumn in My Heart, I’ll watch.
That breaks my heart then…
Typo:Broke my heart
Autumn is my heart was what traumatized me from kdramas for a while. I felt like I cried for 75% of that drama and I didn’t think it was healthy 😠The other bad part was I absolutely loved Won Bin, but he isn’t active anymore.

Ahh I fell in love with Won Bin in the OG drama, the bad boy who changed. I hope they do a better job of making the ML more interesting than the original. And Esther being in it is always a bonus
Hu Yitian x Esther Yu
That does not sound very promising unless they have a solid plot like the Story of Hua Zhi – Blossom in Adversity to carry the drama.
If there is a Won Bin equivalent character in this drama an up and coming young actor’s manager should try and snatch up that role quick!
