C-dramas Speed and Love and Love’s Ambition Both May Air September 2025 Making Yet Another Head-to-Head Airing with Popular C-actresses Yu Shu Xin and Zhao Lu Si
As summer 2025 winds down the eyes are now towards September and beyond with the fall dramas. This week came news that Tencent is eyeing an early September release of Love’s Ambition with Zhao Lu Si and William Chan, after the summer came and went without the drama airing despite reportedly being slated months ago. iQiyi is also looking to schedule Speed and Love with Yu Shu Xin and He Yu around that same time frame, and this drama hasn’t had any rumored airing dates yet so this is the first. It’s widely known the two actresses have had direct drama premieres twice now and each times both their dramas did well enough but the edge went to Yu Shu Xin as both times her dramas were just a smidge more popular. I want to watch both Speed and Love and Love’s Ambition so don’t mind them airing sooner rather than later and even directly at the same time. In life one has to hit the bid and right now pitting these two in competition for the streaming platforms will only garner more buzz.
I watched both trailers, Love Ambition definitely gives off a more serious drama vibe, while Speed and Love honestly didn’t convince me that it’ll be a solid drama. Still, trailers can be tricky, so maybe once it airs, it might surprise us with something special.
Speed and Love definitely won’t air before Oct/Nov. It doesn’t even have a license yet. For some reason they are holding back Loves Ambition only to air it against Speed and Love to create some unnecessary competition. It’s unnecessary and won’t benefit the platform to do that. However after the ZLS drama with her agency and deleting her Weibo I have doubts about any of her dramas airing soon unless they get air dropped for media play. Either way there is plenty of space for both dramas to succeed in their reap genres and target audience.
If YSX wins that round here she will become to Zhao LuSi what Rafael Nadal was to Federer on Rolland Garros

Gonna watch both of them. Honestly, love’s ambitions looks more intriguing. And those beautiful clothes, Lusi really invested alot for her fashion style in this drama. Really gorgeous. But who knows. I keep my expectation as lower as possible. For both. Modern dramas for this season are boring. Except for Rebirth.

ZLS fans are crazy so for Esther’s sake I hope they don’t broadcast at the same time. There is no way she will avoid major attacks by them if they do.
Oh please as if the other doesn’t have her own share of crazy fans. That’s probably why they’re often pitted against each other coz both sides are large enough to create a huge buzz. I might watch out for the fans drama than the actual dramas themselves.
Everyone has crazy fans but nothing beats ZLS fandom, especially after their attacks on Esther recently that we’re started by ZLS herself.
So please pass me with that they are the same nonsense. No, they are not and everyone knows it. Not to mention that only one of those two artists openly attacks her colleagues and it sure isn’t Esther.

Besides, there’s no need to worry much. Whenever something bad happens to Esther Yu, there will be countless marketing accounts and previous staffs that will speak out for her. Not to mention her previous co-stars and cp that will appear on hot search out of the blue to divert attention.
Really? Have some consensus. Both are crazy but EY fandom wins the competition. Rosy don’t have money to spend on marketing accounts so do her family. She was on black RS since her collapse last year. Deleted her weibo and she finally found her peace. And I don’t understand the first ,second and third time. Rosy had hit dramas every year bt pearl girl was 25.9 m per episode and EY was 40.1. It is not her fault that people liked light genre better than serious genre which air at the same time. Did you forget about SIL which got just above 15m episodes while LA got 63.2( more than LBFAD)? Rosy got 7 hit dramas over 35 m per episode. And no smear campaign is going on. EY is from a billionaire business group which is accused of financial embezzlement by a finance blogger not ZLS. She or her family didn’t respond properly and facing investigation. Of course rival fandom will use it and EY will do the same if it happens to Rosy. Rosy had a mishap during livestream and the insult she got was insane and it was on LA’s page. Not to mention her certificate was fake and bullied for days(actual cause of her deleting weibo). I have a weibo account and I have visibility.All fandoms are crazy and there is a competition to find the most toxic on weibo.🤣🤣
William Chan vs he yu. He yu is the better actor but both are fairly handsome. All depends on the script and execution. I’m more for Esther’s drama cause the story appeals more to me. But might check out Zhao lusi to see if her and William Chan mesh well because their pairing to me seems so odd and random.
I’m excited for loves ambition. Seems like a more mature drama. Watched the trailer for speed into love and just seems odd. The only drama I liked of Esther’s was love game so I may check it out.
