Zhao Lu Si’s Former Agency Galaxy Kuyu Reportedly Had Five Shareholders Exit the Company This Week — 7 Comments

  1. Well clearly ZLS is still as important as she portrayed herself to be or else her former agency wouldn’t be struggling. They should’ve treated her better. Bet they’re regretting it now… if only they saw this coming 😏 I’m glad Lusi is thriving again ❤️ Where are all those people who said she’d meet her downfall? They even said LA was going to fail before it even aired, and going as far as predicting it going head to head with their faves comeback dramas and “will spectacularly fail”…. but look at it now. She’s still going strong 💪I’m so happy for her!

    • Hi @sharazza,

I agree with you. While it’s understandable that not everyone is a fan, it’s disheartening to see people actively wishing for Zhao Lusi’s failure in her fight for freedom from a toxic work environment. It sometimes feels as if some commentators are more invested in being proven “right” as negative soothsayers than in basic rights as a contributor, employee, workers etc.

What’s even more concerning is the shocking lack of sympathy regarding her hospitalization. To accuse someone of faking a serious illness without any proof is a deeply cruel act—it’s like kicking someone when they’re already down. The vitriol in some comments is palpable, with more sympathy seemingly directed toward the agency than the individual artist(s) who suffered.

Despite all the hurtful remarks and stacked odds, I’m truly glad to see that ZLS has recovered and found the strength to overcome the odds. At the end of the day, I genuinely don’t wish for bad outcomes for anyone in this industry; everyone deserves a safe and fair working environment.

  2. I’m glad she as a young star managed to break the abusive cycle and got herself out of that situation with her former agency. We see many young people in the entertainment industry fold under the pressure and find themselves in really dark alleys so this is giving some hope at least.

  3. This is a realistic world. With China’s economy in decline due to many factors. Investors have to be make wise decision. No many will throw money around as they did before.

Zhao Lusi is already a big brand for a actress and star. She will just get bigger… her marketing value is immense. I only hope she knows to pace herself and not overwork. Her mental and physical health is important.

  4. Capital cut in almost one third??? LOL Oh good girl ZLS got her former agency slapped badly. Karma! Not ZLS’ fan, I was supposedly indifferent to her dispute with her former agency. But exorcism allegedly performed on her irks me. I definitely have zero tolerance of any witchcraft. Similarly for the rumored causes for Yu Menglong’s infamous death. Interesting! The most outspoken country advocating atheism has such flourishing business and practices of superstition. So ironic! LMAO.

  5. It’s nice to see an actor winning against the agency for once because these contracts really seem lopsided. Hope she got a better deal and better working conditions under her new agency.

  6. True. I am glad she deleted weibo. All fandoms are toxic in china but never seen Keluliis slut shaming another women like some fandoms did to ZLS. ZLS was bullied every single day since hospitalisation. I was in tears every day seeing the black rs and her words were always taken out of context. I like her because she came from a modest background and she is genuinely sweet. If she was from a rich background, I will never buy her sweet and innocent persona. I am a naive village girl. But my rich classmate who is from the city is very bold, charming and elegant. Upbringing plays a very big role. Rosy was deceived by many acquaintance because of her naive and trusting nature. Even if she don’t want to act, I wish her to be healthy and content.
