It’s nice to see stars that were either mid to me or unknown over time win me over, and bonus points if they pair up. C-ent casting has Wang Chu Ran and He Yu in talks for iQiyi drama Tales of the Floating World, a fantasy romance vignette drama. The story is of a demoness who falls for the God of Water in olden xianxia times but gets her heart broken. She lives long and in the present modern age she runs a tea shop where her customers come in to drink tea and share their stories with her. This sounds like a few K-dramas I’ve seen in the concept such as Mystic Pop Up Bar and Hotel Del Luna so I like the story concept and the two leads.
