This is as close as it’s gotten for a Crystal Liu and Chen Xiao drama reunion, and insiders are expecting this to be confirmed soon as production begins. The two worked together on the hit period C-drama A Dream of Splendor and being both A-listers of course production teams want a reunion. I’ve covered a few possible drama projects that courted them but nothing has come to fruition. This one is making the rounds broadly so really could happen, the drama is titled Yan San He 晏三合 and is adapted from the novel Xie Jia De Duan Ming Gui Chang Ming Bai Sui Le 謝家的短命鬼長命百歲了. I would love to see this happen as both are known for being very picky in drama choices and if they both agree this should be one of this popular and prestige projects.
