Princess Agent’s Sequel C-drama Rebirth with Li Yun Rui and Huangyang Tian Tian Releases New Trailer and Tentatively Rumored to Premiere Next Month April 2026
The Princess Agent sequel drama Rebirth has now gone through what I call every stage of feels, from thinking it’s a bad idea all the way now to quite liking the preview and looking forward to it. At least it’s the right direction trajectory rather than the opposite, and the timing looks good as the rumor is that it will air next month sometime in April 2026. Starring Li Yun Rui, Huangyang Tian Tian, and Zhang Kang Le in the same respective characters played by Lin Geng Xin, Zhao Li Ying, and Shawn Dou in the original PG, this one picks up right after the ending of PG but of course we have to accept that all three new leads are aged down haha. The newest preview looks really good NGL and honestly this is not some massive budget drama so if it does okay ratings and reviews it’ll probably end up being worth producing.

I really liked Dou Xiao’s Yan Xun. Princess Agent’s was the first C-drama where I experienced the so-called SML syndrome. LOL. Although I don’t remember the plot as being particularly memorable, since I felt the quality dropped in the second half, I’m curious about this sequel.
It ended when they fell through the ice from what I remember but that ending was such a vague ending makes me curious how they will start the drama and if it will make sense. Or maybe they will put their own flash backs or just do their own thing.
Aside from Blossom LYR hasn’t been acceptable in any other drama. The others are mediocre too.
