Zhang Ling He’s Application for Visa to Visit Taiwan for Fan Meeting is Denied by Taiwanese Government
Lol, this is so petty, but has been happening the opposite direction it’s rather apropos to see it happen now the other way. C-actor Zhang Ling He was reportedly planning a fan meeting in Taiwan as he continues to ride the high of his hit C-drama Pursuit of Jade but for now it is not going to take place. His agency submitted a visa application to visit Taiwan for the event but it was denied by the Taiwanese government. The reason is reportedly that Zhang Ling He has posted on his SNS comments that the Taiwanese government feel is incendiary to its national safety, and a search through his SNS shows Zhang Ling He having made comments supporting the Chinese government in a patriotic way during national events or holidays. The stated reason for the denial is that the visa application did not provide the proper details for the reason for his visit. I dunno but fan meeting to satiate thousands of Taiwanese housewives that watched PoJ seems specific enough for me.
Great job, Taiwanese government! lol
Don’t fool people! The CCP will definitely make use of every high-profile cross-strait activity to push a political agenda and their narratives. The CCP authorities should also realize that people like me won’t be easily brainwashed, even if we watch Chinese dramas. lol. There are many Taiwanese people who trade with China or have business in China but are strong supporters of DPP. lmao.
I did wonder why he was not at the Vogue Forces of Fashion 2026. He had other plans lined up in the period.
