You’re All Surrounded with Lee Seung Gi and Cha Seung Won Releases Script Reading Stills and Starts Filming
The Wed-Thurs battle has petered out recently with three dramas that are all tightly bunched together in the low teen digits in ratings. I can’t say Three Days, Age of Feeling (Inspiring Generation), or Sly and Single Again are all dull dramas to have nothing pop out as the forerunner, but none of the three capture my interest is is the reason I’m skipping this time slot for the time being. The next Wed-Thurs drama on the horizon that has Koala-nip written all over it is You’re All Surrounded with Lee Seung Gi and Cha Seung Won, two of my fave leading men paired with a screenwriter that has delivered quality fare I’ve enjoyed in the past. Three Days hasn’t delivered the ratings that SBS has hoped for after hitting a gold mine with You From Another Star so I’m expecting a huge promotional push for You’re All Surrounded to help the network reclaim the crown. The drama doesn’t premiere until the last week of April but has started filming already which is a major relief to hear. In addition to the two male leads playing police officers, the rest of the police squad cast consists of Go Ara, Oh Yoon Ah, Ahn Jae Hyun, Park Jung Min, and Lim Won Hee. This isn’t a police procedural but is described as a lighthearted humanistic tale that just happens to be about a group of cops at a precinct in Gangnam. Directing is the PD behind Incarnation of Money, History of the Salaryman, and Giant, while the screenwriter is no stranger to big ensemble storytelling having penned Ojakkyo Brothers, Surgeon Bong Dal Hee, and Be Strong Geum Soon. Same here, I didn’t watch Wed-Thu dramas anymore cz no one catch my interest but the next slot seems interesting. I like LSG and GAR. Together they’ll be adorable.
Oh wow, the script reading and actual shooting was held already?? It’s great that they’re working early on this, because New Leaf (over at MBC) is yet to pick their female lead…
Really excited for YAS! I’m curious to see what kind of look they’d give Go Ara after the short hair she sported in AM94. I hope there’s tons of romance between Seung gi and her, because I think they’d have some crackling chemistry!
I think Park Min Young has already been cast for New Leaf.

PUPPY!!!!!!!!!!! I’m really looking forward to this! Seriously cannot wait for this. I’ve actually never been disappointed by a Seung Gi puppy’s drama, though I may have loved some more than others, my two favourites being MGIAG and K2H <3 .
I'm watching S&S which is cute but I have not even read the recaps for the other two… they're not my cup of tea and I have zero interest in them.
Please drama give me lots of bromance. I bet CSW will be kicking puppy’s butt haha 🙂
I have a good feeling about this. Love the cast, love the PD and love the writer. They can’t screw this up can they?? The fancams I’ve seen of LSG and CSW are already so cute… I can’t wait to see more. I’m not to into anything on W/T (or M/T either) right now. This really can’t start soon enough.
I am watching s&sa but I am also looking forward to new stuff too. Hope yas is good. This will be the first Lsg drama that interested me before airing.

Love seunggi’s cameo in best love, and if the script writer can milk their hilarious petty rivalry and chemistry, I think I’ll fly to heaven.
So far, really have a great feeling about this drama production. From the PD to the scriptwriter to the actor and actress.

and great that they started filming already s.b.s has to step up their game with this drama since it’s still the most anticipated drama of 2014
