Cameras have started rolling on the set of upcoming MBC sageuk Ruler: Master of the Mask. The big lead time start is good news, even though the drama doesn’t arrive until May it’s nice to get an early glimpse at a drama I’m super looking forward to. Starring Yoo Seung Ho, Kim So Hyun, L, and Yoon So Hee, the drama pairs up two of K-dramas most famous and popular grown up child stars in a genre both excel at. Yoo Seung Ho is the crown prince battling against an evil and greedy faction trying to privatize water in Joseon Korea with Kim So Hyun has his lady love who spurs him to become a better ruler. The cast posted an adorable BTS picture making pucker faces, and below are two in-camera pictures of the leads filming and looking beautifully in character as well as the first teaser for the drama.

Yoo Seung Ho looks mighty. Hope he tops previous kings like Kim Soo Hyun in TMETS and Bo Gum in The Moonlight in the clouds.
The teaser is sadly underwhelming, but they might come up with something better when the airing time approaches. I’ll definitely check this out, I love both leads.
