So it really is happening, Lee Seung Gi–Suzy 2.0 has started with filming kicking off for fully pre-produced action thriller drama Vagabond. Lee Seung Gi posted an update on his Instagram account with a picture of him from the recent fan meeting, and the announcement that filming for Vagabond has started on June 25th with poster shoots and is scheduled to film through the end of the year with an airing date in 2019. The drama is financed by Sony Pictures and plans to air throughout Asia in additional to premiering in South Korea. Lee Seung Gi plays a man caught up in a conspiracy after an airliner incident and Suzy is a national security agency for the Korean government. I’m really excited and anxious at the same time, Seung Gi-Suzy 1.0 was a complete dud for me but I still love them both and this time around Vagabond comes from the highly successful and respected PD-screenwriter team behind Giant, and both have plenty of other successful K-dramas since that hit.
