I didn’t expect my request for some feedback from folks who are watching My Princess to elicit so many responses in my recap for episode 12. Agree or disagree with my opinion, it shouldn’t influence anyone’s enjoyment of MP. But it does baffle me when I’m told I have a hatred of this drama and therefore should stop recapping it. … Continue reading →
Well, regardless of how the main love triangle plays out (I’m personally done making predictions and am happily chilling with the drama until the end, whichever way it goes), no one can deny that the second half of Dream High has become the “Song Sam Dong Emo Show.” Kim Soo Hyun is delivering big time as emo-Sam Dong, even if … Continue reading →
Dream High has not been as cracky for me this week, my raging addiction slowing down just as the drama took a turn for the moody. The two episodes this week seemingly revealed that MiGook is the end game by the ferris wheel kiss, and might be heralding that Sam Dong will be K since he got the K pendant … Continue reading →
I haven’t watched episode 11 of My Princess yet, but I worry that the drama is getting bogged down in the same old issues. I wish Seol would just take up Hae Young’s offer, and let the rest of the drama be about Seol and Hae Young getting back to the palace and convincing the public they’d make a perfect … Continue reading →
My Princess episode 10 left us, and Seol, in the middle of a choice for the ages – Smexy Diplomat Hae Young or being a bona fide princess for life. Hhhm, hard choice. I personally want both, so I would elect to be a princess, and then decree that Park Hae Young must be given to me as my prince … Continue reading →
W.O.W. That was a great episode 10 of Dream High. I’m having a hard time concentrating on writing this post. No spoilers about what happened, except for using a post-topping picture of the kiss between Hye Mi and Jin Gook which everyone has been chattering about for the last week. I really love how the story continues to move the … Continue reading →
I don’t know what I am more excited for, the Super Bowl tomorrow or Dream High episode 10 on Monday. Probably the Super Bowl, but only by a hairsbreadth. My love of professional sports probably trumps my drama addiction, but that’s a subject for another place. Back to Dream High, which has everyone gnawing on their fat lower lip waiting … Continue reading →
On the heels of its upcoming Monday premiere, MBC released a full three and a half minute trailer for its upcoming sageuk The Duo. We don’t see any of the adult leads Chun Jung Myung, Han Ji Hye, or Lee Sang Yoon, except via snap shots of their characters. This drama looks like it will have a pretty substantial childhood/teenage portion (rather than told … Continue reading →
It’s no secret that I have been loving every minute of Dream High for the last few weeks, each week more than the last even. Aside from a fun-to-ship love triangle, what really stands out in DH is how it’s such a positive and affirmative drama. Like a kissing cousin to God of Study, DH strives to send the message … Continue reading →
Just a note – I will keep recapping My Princess, since I hate to leave a project unfinished. If I can’t continue for whatever reason, I’ll let everyone know. Until then, I hope folks who like this drama continue to enjoy it. My opinions reflect only my thoughts, and shouldn’t influence you at all. 🙂 I haven’t watched episode 9 … Continue reading →
Well, it looks like the cute may be back. Oh hallelujah! The preview for episode 9 of My Princess may be deceiving since I thought we’re headed to angstville on a speeding train, but I choose to believe the glass is half full. I’m actually fast losing interest in this drama (*sobs, I hate when that happens*), so I welcome … Continue reading →
Pictures spoilers for the upcoming episode 9 of Dream High after the jump. I have to say that I’ve missed this feeling of wanting to go to sleep early so that I can wake up to watch a new episode of a drama. DH is my latest obsession, and its proving itself episode-by-episode to be worth my growing devotion to … Continue reading →
My darling star-crossed MiGook couple! I hope Hye Mi kicked him in the knee before she allowed him to rest his head on her shoulder. Regardless of being a SamMi shipper, I squeed but good when I saw this picture. Almost made me forget the written preview for episode 9 of Dream High is out. And don’t you SamMi shippers … Continue reading →
