The reason is that the drama contains a big Halloween street celebration scene, which makes sense as it’s set in the world of fashion and young people and Itaewon is the hipster spot for the youth. The scene cannot be cut as its integral to the narrative and the drama is also done with full post-production including all language subtitles intended for release of this drama worldwide. It’s a no-win situation for the production and the cast who worked hard on creating this drama with leads Chae Soo Bin and Minho and second leads Lee Sang Un and Park Hee Jung. Netflix can consider releasing it in all regions except for South Korea/Asia but that would basically be trying to salvage this situation now.
