I know I have it bad when I go to sleep thinking about a drama and wake up thinking about the same drama. I enjoy being surprised, and The King 2 Hearts was completely a surprise in how much it works for be. The romance feels palpable, the politics is meaningful, and the intrigue is entertaining. This is not a drama subsisting solely on the OTP or the love story, which is but one element of a greater narrative about a “what if” scenario involving North and South Korea. What little spoilers we get about episode 5 sounds amazing already, and I can’t wait for the story to keep moving forward as Hang Ah and Jae Ha find themselves affianced for whatever reason. For those of you who haven’t seen the opening credits for TK2H, I’ve linked to it below. It’s absolutely fantastic.

The North-South committee and team members gather together for a banquet to celebrate. Hang Ah is looking for Jae Ha, only to hear that Jae Ha and Jae Kang have returned to South Korea already. After much deliberation, Jae Ha agrees to Jae Kang’s request and starts going on match making dates with North Korean ladies. Hang Ah is working in the intelligence office when she hears from the news reports that she is engaged to Jae Ha, much to her shock…..

This drama is absolutely crazy-wonderful-awesome-extra-thrilling-fresh-blowing-addicting.
I watch other shows, but i immerse myself in The King 2 Hearts. And if i had to drop the other dramas to be able to watch this one, i wouldn’t hesitate. The OST is incredible, i hope it will be released soon.
I share your love for this drama Koala. Lee Seung Gi actually looks hot and irresistible in this drama! Not his usual dorky self. Ha Ji Won is amazing as the north korean officer with issues of love. She has changed her accent, her way of acting. She is so sweet yet has a killer kick. I love the chemistry between the 2 of them. : ) But the writing of this drama is great too. The editing and OST (love it when that piano comes on) is smooth and heightens the drama of the scene. Can’t wait for every thursday/Fri (I have 1 day delay for the subtitles). Thank you Koala for feeding us all these tidbits. We have been spoilt by you : )

Same here, I also have a very bad case of TK2H addiction. I think one of the reason why the actors/actress are doing so well, is behind the scenes they also have a fun and enjoyable working atmosphere. If you haven’t seen the BTS yet. I am completely indulged in this drama. I think about it day and night…I even think LSG and I have just recently became a fan (after MGIaG). I have never really watch any of his previous projects until about 3 weeks ago.
lol I share your exact same symptoms… I think about the drama practically the entire day… I don’t know what to do with myself… I go on the internet scouring every corner (be it youtube vids or reviews/spoilers/news) for anything K2H related…. T_T
