It’s classic noir for the visual home run in the recently released official posters for KBS sleuthing drama Mystery Queen. I would love to see these in black-and-white as well but the saturated tones of gold and red accents with backdrops of crime solving poses sells this drama marvelously. I’m interested now if I wasn’t already with this mystery loving housewife turned partner to a dogged detective as a mismatched duo. The drama stars Choi Kang Hee, Kwon Sang Woo, Lee Won Geun, and Jeon Soo Jin and takes over the Wed-Thurs time slot from Chief Kim starting in April.
Gorgeous posters. Reminds me of Wong Ka Wai’s movies like In the Mood for Love. I hope the drama lives up to it.
Ditto!
wah,the posters is so beautiful, with classic noir style. i hope the drama great too.
WOW!I rarely like drama posters but these are fantastic. This is not a drama I was chomping at the bit to watch. And if they had paired Choi Kang Hee with a younger man (again) I would have passed for sure. But I actually think this is some really nice casting. Kwon Sang Woo is a good actor but he has been miscast a lot; however he fits this type of role well. And Choi Kang Hee can really get annoying, but I also think this is a good role for her. I am anxious to see how they do together!
