Great news all around with the confirmation that Jang Hyuk, Jung Ryeo Won, and Junho have all signed onto upcoming slice-of-life drama with a twist of Greasy Romance. The title refers to the greasy or oily aspect of Chinese cooking as the story centers around a Chinese restaurant in a small neighborhood. Jang Hyuk is an ex-con gangster who owns the building where the restaurant is situation, Jung Ryeo Won a rich girl with interests in horse riding and fencing and is hidden away dealing with emotional hangups, and Junho rounds out the main trio as a formerly top rated Chinese restaurant chef now cooking in the neighborhood joint. Greasy Melo is from the screenwriter of Incarnation of Jealousy and Miss Korea so I’m already totally in on that alone. The drama airs in the SBS Mon-Tues slot in May after Shall We Kiss Again.
I loved Jealousy Incarnate ! GHJ and CJS were incredible. I don’t know if I would have loved it with other actors.
In this case, I’m not interested by the story or the casting. I can’t picture the 3 of them together. But at least, they’re good actors.
I love JH n JRW. N trust they can carry out their roles as both of them good actors. Can’t wait for May!!!
jealousy incarnate was one of the weirdest drama in terms of dialogue I have ever watched and it was fun too.junho was remarkable in just between lovers, jang hyuk acted with his usual greatness in on of my most favorite drama this year money flower, ryeo won also did well this year in the hit series witch court.
this means we will be assured of at least good acting in this drama. I will definitely check this one out.
K dramas 2018 just keep on getting better and better! Love JRW; JH and Junho so don’t care really about the story at all. Also Cha Joo Young from Binggoo is co starring and it premieres in May on Mon-Tues nights so what more could I ask for❤️
Yay this is great news!! I’m so happy they all confirmed! The script so far must be quite good then. These 3 are some of my favorite actors and actresses in drama land and I never imagined all 3 would be cast in the same drama.
Can’t wait to see how all this talent comes together!!
Juhno is my current favorite it boy from kdrama land and I’m happy that he gets to star with to other actors that I like. The premise isn’t so bad. You can build from this one, rather than having great plots and disappointing with how it’s handled. Looking forward to it!
You’re right. We need small stories with great dialogue and funny plot.
With these good actors I expect Jealousy to be incarnated -literally!
