Original Hana Yori Dango F4 Reunite to Celebrate Matsuda Shota's Wedding

I realize Hana Yori Dango (Boys Before Flowers) has been in the news a lot recently, thanks to the high profile Taiwan and China collaboration remake Meteor Garden 2018 and also J-dorama adapting the sequel Hana Nochi Hare (Hanadan Next Season) which just started airing recently. I’m unexpectedly loving Hana Nochi Hare (seriously, it’s adorable and charming in the Hanadan way) which has seen the cameo of Matsumoto Jun (Domyouji Tsukasa) in the first episode and will see more original Hanadan F4 members to come if it follows the manga storyline. In real life the original F4 did unite this week to celebrate Matsuda Shota‘s wedding toe model Akimoto Kozue, with Oguri Shun and Abe Tsuyoshi posing next to the groom and a caption on the picture says “taken by Domyouji” which means MatsuJun was also there and took the pic. So much awwwwww I can’t even. Happy memories y’all!

I heard Johnny was getting more lenient with social media, but I guess not too much if Matsumoto couldn’t even appear on wedding pictures…

  I feel sad they broke up but their chemistry will always live on through HYD, of all the actors to play Makino and Doumyoji in any version of HYD, Matsujun and Mao had the best chemistry.

Oguri Shun looks so good. He is not normally I guy I’d find handsome but there is something about him. I was not turned off even when he played with his nose in Gintama film.

  Yeah Shun is not classically handsome but he’s very charismatic and talented, he was incredible in Border.
  
  Same with Matsujun, he’s not a ‘typical’ handsome type but he has his own charm and appeal and can kill with a glance lol.

And yeah, Hana Nochi Hare totally has that HanaDan charm but that’s mostly because of Sugisaki Hana, she is adorable as Oto. Hirano Sho’s acting though…..yikes. I can only hope he gets better in coming episodes since jdramas don’t live shoot.
