Jerry Yan Pairs Up with Shen Yue for C-drama Count Your Lucky Stars in Weird Meteor Garden Generational Crossover — 15 Comments

  1. Jerry Yan really looks very youthful in these pictures thou..I can’t see the 20-year difference! Bravo for him for taking good care of himself.

OG Meteor Garden was a phenomenon and will always be my
first love Asian drama. This jumpstarted my Asian-drama hobby.

  2. I felt the same as you koala until I saw the trailer the other day and it didn’t look too icky. It looked like they were having fun. I must say though Jerry is much better looking now than in his younger days.

  3. It looks more fun than her last drama… The last one her character was interesting but all the story was more about the the other female lead who was boring.

  4. They’re clearly gonna play on the fact that it’s the first and last generation of the Meteor Garden saga, so it’s a legendary collaboration. I don’t really mind that they’re acting together. Their chemistry seems fine, for now. But I am pretty disappointed that Jerry would revert back and act in these types of idol romantic comedy, slapstick dramas. His acting capabilities deserve a much more complex and nuanced role :/

    • Hahaha…I am thinking the same thing. It will be a super big news when Barbie Hsu come back to the dramaland and take Dylan as her interest romance on screen.

  5. My thing that I find troubling is Their playing jerry off as a 25 yr old. Now that’s hard to buy. They should Amin early 30’s. He looks young but not that young.

  6. I don’t like the age difference. I love both Jerry Yan and Shen Yue, but I find it hard to think of them as a romantic couple. I think of them more as Father and daughter.

  7. OMG I will never not love Jerry Yan! I’m def checking this out, and his voice isn’t even dubbed!!!! Only if they got an older female lead.. bc that age gap yikes..
