Ha Jung Woo’s Alleged Propofol Abuse Came From the Same Investigation of Hacker Who Blackmailed Joo Jin Mo Over Sleazy Texts
Welp, now this makes sense. Turns out the investigation over whether K-actor Ha Jung Woo used a false name at a Gangnam beauty clinic last year to get administered propofol came out of the police investigating the hacker that tapped into the phones of many rich and famous people and started blackmailing them. One was K-actor Joo Jin Mo who went public rather than pay the blackmail so the hacker released tons of texts between him and Jang Dong Gun talking about their exploits, objectifying women, and generally being sleazy men. I hope the hacker pays for the invasion of privacy and blackmail, and if there was any wrongdoing uncovered then the investigation taken place properly and resolved accordingly to the law so everyone can move on.
Does both wrongs make a right? The hacker shouldn’t be breaking into celebrities personal business, yet he exposed some rather shady and sleazy dealings. So no matter if what the end is, does it justify the means? I think not. The hacker should still be punished by law, and dirty celebrities should take better care not to do those sleazy and illegal stuff, so they won’t worry about possible future blackmail.
