Im Soo Hyang is Radiant in All Three Official Drama Posters for SBS Drama Woori the Virgin with Baby Daddy Sung Hoon and Boyfriend Shin Dong Wook

It’s not a bad place to be Im Soo Hyang as the titular Woori the Virgin in the upcoming SBS drama, but for the fact that she’s going to be a mom and hasn’t even had sex haha. It’s the remake of the show Jane the Virgin which has broad awareness and seems like a perfect fit for a K-drama treatment. The titular Woori played by Im Soo Hyang is a devout Catholic and is saving herself for marriage but is a happy young woman with a job and a handsome sweet boyfriend played by Shin Dong Wook. A routine trip to the OB/GYN leaves her artificially inseminated with playboy rich guy Sung Hoon‘s baby and now she’s caught between her planned path and a wholly off the rails future. I have not watched any of the prior shows so I’m going into this drama blind and am so excited especially with the leads actually impressing me in the previews and now the lovely trio of posters. These are simple but so prettily done.

  2. Sung Hoon is good in this kind of role :p

I didn’t watch any version neither. But I think this kind of story suits Kdrama and only one season format.

  3. This is a K-drama adaptation of Juana la Virgen? Starring Daniela Alvarado and Ricardo Álamo? Wow, it feels like an eternity since I watched it! Back then, telenovelas were like my K-dramas before Hallyu happened.

Anyways, I’ll look forward to this. ?

    • Aaahh, this. I remember watching a telenovela with the same theme and now yiu mentioned it.

I’ve grown up watching many dramas from many countries, that’s why im pretty familiar with some telenovelas. Glad to meet someone who watched it too.

  4. BTW, is anyone here watching Military Prosecutor Doberman? Is the drama good? I see the ratings are high, the finale even hit 10%. But I’m not hearing any buzz about it. Weird. Anyways, any good reviews on the drama?

    • Military Prosecutor Doberman is one of the weirdest cases which hit double digit but nobody is talking about it cauz most kdrama viewers have an allergy to Jo Bo Ah and they think she is so baaad no matter what. ( Actually, she killed her role in MPD) whereas they tend to praise overrated bland actresses like Han So hee or Suzy who does the same expression every time.

      • Good drama and both actors did a good job . Enjoyable watch if you like revenge dramas , some important topics were brushed quickly ( bullying, corruption,…), the weak point is that all was rushed in the last 2 episodes . In the other side, Crazy love was , and it’s my own opinion a uninteresting one . Don’t get what was Crazy about this boring love story, and why KJW choose it .

  5. The second poster reminds me the us movie ” the bachelor” 1999 with Renée Zellwegger and Chris O’Donnell .
