KBS Mon-Tues Drama Cafe Minamdang Continues with Creative Promos Using Tarot Cards for Character Posters

I looked up the PD for upcoming KBS drama Cafe Minamdang to refresh his part works and was pleased that his most recent drama was Dinner Mate (Would You Like to Have Dinner Together). That drama was great for the first half but after the OTP got together it got a bit boring, but the pretty directing was part of what made it work right off the bat and that stayed consistent throughout. I don’t think the director does the promo work but probably signs off on it and the promos have been excellent for Cafe Minamdang, creative and pretty which is hard to pull off. The latest are character posters with leads Seo In Guk, Oh Yeon Seo, Kwak Si Yang, Kang Mina, and Kwon Soo Hyun representing tarot cards in line with the fortune telling element of this drama. Though pretty might be the wrong description for Kwak Si Yang’s character poster lol, you have to see it to understand.

This is a very good move for Kwak Shi-yang; he’s always been doing the typical cold second male leads lately. I found him annoying in his daily soap All is Well, but this should be interesting.
Love the posters. OYS like female James Bond. I could tell Siyang had so much fun in the bts. The derriere seems to be a running joke amongst the boys lol.
Hopefully director will keep it light and fun without falling apart in 2nd half or muck up ending.
Saw the long highlight. This drama looks so promising…with mystery, comedy, and action packed too.
Seo In Guk is awesome as usual and we get a smart badass female lead character as well
So cute to see Yeon Seo and Soo Hyun singing with Inguk in KBS kpop. Such a pleasure to hear him sing live again after 5 years.
