I’m probably the wrong person to notice British scent house Jo Malone and its CFs and models because I’ve been using their scents for nearly three decades. Since I was a college student studying over there in the early days of Jo having her own boutique in Knightsbridge, it was her Lime, Basil, and Mandarin that is brought me in and is forever in my rotation, and in the decades since I’ve rotated through Grapefruit, Nectarine Blossom and Honey, and Peony and Blush. These days I wear my JM scenes only as Body Cremes with rotate between my standby Chloe, Gucci Flora, and Hermes Twilly (Ginger or Pepper). Scents are super subjective but I do think sharing once in awhile what I wear may spark exploration in others. I ended up buying Le Labo Santal 33 but not loving it for myself but loving it when I spray in my office at work. My secretary goes crazy lol she knows the days I’m in office. Anyhoo, Jo Malone will forever be on my bathroom sink but as a fan of the perfume house I also love that it taps the most suitable brand ambassadors to broaden its reach. The latest is Park Eun Bin in these new CF ads and if you ask me her scent I would think it would say its in the light floral family like Wild Bluebell.
