A rumor spread that a top male actor with two character name is angling for a divorce due to his wife wanting a second baby and he doesn’t want to and also that he cheated on her with a top C-actress with also a two character name who previously got with a top HK actor. Netizens zeroed in on Chen Xiao, married to TW-actress Michelle Chen and the two have one son, and the affair actress it purported to be Lin Yun (Jelly Lin), who rose to fame as a Stephen Chow girl in his Mermaid movie and netizens then she dated him once. Also Chen Xiao and Lin Yun recently worked together on the C-drama A Dream of Splendor and Chen Xiao gave an interview recently where he said his wife Michelle visited him on set everyday but he had so much work during filming that it was a hassle. Im not even a Chen Xiao or Michelle Chen fan, you should double check whether the gossip is still true before you post it. Please search on Weibo for the exact chatlog of the gossip account that posted those rumors with Jelly Lin (who isn’t refuted, maybe shes really the “Two Word Name Female Actress), they clarified it is not Chen Xiao after many people started guessing. And they didn’t even reveal who it was in the end, so dumb.

I actually saw a rumor over 6 months ago saying they are already divorced, but they don’t want to announce it because of their careers. There are so many smoke in this marriage that I would not be surprised if tommorow they announce they are parting ways. But I wish them the best for now.

that rumor doesn’t fit Chen Xiao because the phrase they use to describe the actor is “顶流” which is used to describe extremely popular celebs like of Xiao Zhan/Wang Yi Bo level. Chen Xiao has recognition but he’s not a traffic star. Honestly, the rumor doesn’t match any celeb. There isn’t any married male actor who is a 顶流.
I feel like people just badly want Chen Xiao and his wife to divorce. No one likes them as a couple and there’s divorce rumors every year, but I doubt any of it is true.
