The long dream/nightmare (depending on your perspective) is almost over for Alchemy of Souls, with the second short season Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow ending this weekend with episodes 9 and 10. The preview stills hint at the leads Wook and Bu Yeon/Naksu recognizing each other by Naksu’s tree that she dreamed of one day going to the top and shared that with Wook when she was Mu Deok. I am really curious how the Hong Sisters plan to end this and how much more they can upset me or perhaps actually find a miniscule change of salvaging an ending that makes sense. There are also new stills of the male leads looking like they are headed into battle with Jin Mu and his cadre of body stealing rich and powerful soul shifters, to say IT’S ABOUT F*%KING TIME is an understatement.
I can’t wait to see these last 2 episodes. I know I will cry no matter what happens. I was hooked from the very first moment. The costumes, actors, and the complexity of the beautiful story line moving in and out of each step, captured my heart and mind completely. This will be one of the few that I will watch more than once.💕❤️🥰

I’ve began loving AOS1 bcoz of mudeok. they twisted the story in such a very bad angle, that I’m dumbfounded as to why? The hong sisters are indeed prolific writers but they did not do justice on this one, overtwisting then trying to untwist 🤣

ep 9 was meh, too many jumpy scenes. mess after mess. ngl hong sis really have a great vision for aos world but the execution is awfully bad.
Same here. I felt like ep 9 was too rushed.
I don’t care if the script is messy at times. The magic of the story, the charismatic characters and the amazing cast make up for everything. I will miss them!!! :'(
I’d like to see all these actors again together in another drama, I love them so much!! 🙂
