Fox Spirit Matchmaker with Yang Mi and Gong Jun Release New Painted Style Poster with Still No Air Date in Sight

I’ve been seeing clips of both Three Lives Three Worlds. Ten Miles Peach Blossoms and The Pillow Book on my SNS these days and it’s getting me more in the mood for Fox Spirit Matchmaker, when it does air. Fox Spirit is adapted from a very popular game and manhua series and is one of three dramas in the series so the core IP of the story should be solid. Starring Yang Mi and Gong Jun, it’s one of those pairings that was bound to happen thanks to the musical chairs of popular C-ent actors and actresses and hopefully this story provides the right characters for each and they generate much needed chemistry.

  1. Those legs are freaking me out.
And yet another flop incoming. It’s so much fun to watch the c-drama market being in ice age. Eventually, production houses will realise that quality only can break this.

  2. I really dislike the half let-down hair for males in historical dramas. It looks terrible on every one of them. Plus, there’s absolutely zero historical basis for it so I can only assume that bad taste is the reason.

  3. Such a boring pairing. YM will bring with her nothing but looks only on anything she does as she refused to improve in every single project she takes. She is so unwatchable, I dont even known if ahe or her team realize that. GJ I have no words. He just doesn’t click right with anyone he pairs with.

    • She used to be decent and there was quite a bit of hope surrounding her. I don’t know if fame hit her head because she is well known now to be terribly arrogant but ever since she got that fame, instead of evolving she has been steadily getting worse and worse.

    • If you’ve had extremely popular projects and are objectively attractive, then you are bound to be popular. Add personal charisma to that and you have a winning formula. YM has had a string of high profile dramas in the 2010s and she is also eloquent and humorous.
