I’m glad to see these two together but goodness it brings back memories of the turd-iest turd movie ever the 2019 Chinese film version of Autumn in My Heart. It”s indescribable levels of bad but since it was years before leads Zhao Lu Si and Xu Kai got to their current levels of popularity I’ll chalk it up to dues paid. They were very cute onscreen and sometimes I wonder if Ancient Love Poetry would have worked better if the female lead was Zhao Lu Si then. Anyhoo, both stars are Bulgari spokespersons in China and for upcoming 520 Day (the date sounds like “I love you”) the brand has them paired up for an ad campaign to hopefully sell more wildly expensive but totally gorgeous baubles.
The photoshop on this is so bad I thought it was fanmade.
They look amazing together, but I can’t help but think the Love Like the Galaxy fans would have lost their minds if she was paired with Wu Lei if he’s still a spokesperson for Bulgari.
2019 wasn’t years ago. It is still a very close memory.

I am Zhao Lusi fan, but she needs to ask people who edit her photos to take it easy on the photoshop. compare the photos for Bulgari of Liu Yifei and hers and you can see that someone is doing her a diservice. And she needs to stop smiling in every photo for ads. It looks odd. lol But I am glad she is getting so many endorsements and good ones. Good luck Zhao Lusi.
Although I like Lusi and I am absolutely fine with Xu Kai, this is one bad photoshoot. It doesn’t even look as if they were in the same room.
