It’s clear that K-actress Park Eun Bin is top of her age group class among actresses after Extraordinary Attorney Woo, for her next drama Castaway Diva I’ve rarely seen such a solo female-lead centric story and promos for anyone else in that same range. The drama is scheduled for October 2023 in the Sat-Sun time slow after Arthdal Chronicles 2: The Sword of Aramun wraps and will be a shorter length 12-episode series. In addition to Park Eun Bin doing her best stranded on an island impression and her best aspiring singer efforts, another hook for this drama is that it’s from one of my fave K-drama screenwriters Park Hye Ryun and this is her first drama in 3 years since Start-up so I am super excited to see what story she has crafted because I’ve loved all her stuff.
Looking forward to this. Park Eun Bin makes some interesting drama choices compared to her peers.
It looks super interesting and fun. I like the actors too. Park Eun-Bin is such a great actress and made very interesting choices of Kdramas.

I know this is just your opinion, so I respect it. But I disagree. I think it’s kind of exaggerated to rank PEB number one when IU dominates in nearly all categories: dramas, movies, music, and CFs. She’s literally a household name and is untouchable. Even her little scandal with that Super Junior dude didn’t damage her career— and she was just a new star then! Over the years, her star power has only increased. I don’t think it’s exaggerated to say she’s pretty much a living icon now. Kim Tae Ri should also be higher than PEB, because she has three hit dramas now and she also dominates Chungmuroo, very much like Jun Ji Hyun, like the other commenter said. HSH doesn’t have a hit drama yet in the traditional way where she’s the lead, but we all could see how strong her star power already is, she’s global ambassador for many huge international brands, and even some insider back then admitted all the plum projects go to HSH first. I think HSH is tied with Suzy at this point. If Gyeongseong Creature becomes a hit, she’ll become even more in-demand. And then after them, that’s where I’d personally place PEB.

It’s hard to judge just : as an actress? Or with their ad/ambassador contracts? Buzz on social medias? etc.
