HK-ent Leading Lady Kathy Chow Confirmed to Have Passed Away at 57 Years Old
It feels like yet another star has fallen, or perhaps a star has gone to Heaven is more apt. A day after rumors abounded that HK-actress Kathy Chow had shockingly passed away, her agency confirmed the news of her demise on Weibo ending all the speculation. She indeed had fallen ill and was rushed to the hospital but could not be saved and passed away. No word on the cause of death but it really doesn’t matter, only that another classic HK-drama veteran actress who was a familiar face and name to so many people who grew up on HK shows in the 80’s and 90’s. has left us. Condolences to her family and friends and may she rest in peace.
She is still young… I bet many around the world who grew up watching her must be in shock. RIP.

She was awesome as the Heavenly Empress. She hit every emotion and really made me hate the character. Sad to lose someone at a young age. RIP.
