A new C-drama is in early casting stage but it has a pretty name and also potential leads and I like. The drama title is Green Cloud Platform adapted from the same name period romance novel set during a wartime with the leads going from enemies to lovers. The offer is out to Zhao Lu Si to be the female lead, and the male lead is reportedly Deng Wei but Cheng Lei has also been approached for the role. I’m excited for this drama with Lu Si as the lead and either male lead.

Koala, I haven’t heard of this melon yet, the one have heard is wuxia which casting is offered to ZLS and Deng wei. But whatever drama it will be , it looks more likely Deng wei will be the ML, from the melons going around

I can’t unseen Den Wei’s suspicious PS lips and jawline. It’s so distracting when he moves his mouth. I hope not him but Cheng Lei. Otherwise, I have to pass this drama. DW’s face is unwatchable. Have to confess I’m a visual freak when it comes to costume dramas. LOL.

I don’t know why people keep posting all these rumor casting news when we know it doesn’t finalize until the last minute. Sometimes the cast changes even the day before shooting starts. I don’t believe it until I see announcement pics.
Not true. Some are finalised months in advance. It really depends from situation to situation.
It also depends on who else wants that role as they often release drafts then to make it happen. It is also less certain in idol dramas while anything more serious is much more settled.
What I meant is that it’s all rumors before casting truly finalized. I know some are finalized months before. They have to as it’s alot of prep. But knowing Chinese dramas, unless we see ceremony pics, it’s all up in the air.
