  1. She is with the daughter in Bali and left their young son with the father in Seoul despite all this? I really don’t get this. I think this is a wrong move because if she can’t prove any of this then she will be considered the guilty party and may end up losing custody of both kids because divorce in Korea is fault based. I really need women to be smarter for their own sake.

    • if she’s speaking of hidden valuables and phones in sock drawers I hope she gathered evidence, because that sounds like a terrible way to treat your wife of 14 years and the mother of your children.

Like that’s actual wrongdoing, not sure what the leaving the son with his father has to do with it since there’s no apparent issue with his treatment of the children, only of her.

  2. Not surprising if he lead a double life, these r stars we only see on life on the screen and the other is their private life where they can hide and do all sort of things.

  3. Very ugly… This looks bad on the actor. The wife must be feeling very desperate to publicly air this dirty laundry. I am not siding anyone as the one who makes noise may not always be innocent. I really do not know.
But now it is out in the open, they will have to deal with public opinion.

  4. I pity their children. I remembered they were on TROS variety show and the kids were so cute and innocent. How they must suffer to see their family conflicts exposed to public.

  5. Gosh… what is WITH all these celebrity dating/marriage/divorce drama going on this month. It’s literally non stop.

This is so sad. I’m not inclined to believe anyone because there’s always 2 sides to divorce. It’s a 14 year marriage- that’s a long time. But whatever the situation, hope they can just please resolve it quietly for the sake of their kids. It’s already hard to see your parents separate – to have to do it so publicly is just terrible.

    • @Butterfly – honestly, even what they showed of their marriage publicly on TROS didn’t make him look all that great.

If the parents are on the verge of divorce I very much doubt that the kids could be in the same household without knowing it, I just hope this is settled quickly and that they don’t go through more distress :/

  6. In the Superman series they showed her pregnancy and he seemed distant and too busy to support her through it all. He also voiced his regrets on how busy he always is. It gave the impression that she has a lot to deal with and put up with that a wife should not bare alone. Seemed a normal thing in their culture. Needless to say it was somewhat awkward when he was on that show.

  7. Just because she cried out first and publicly doesn’t mean she’s to be believed and he is to be dismissed. If he’s as shady as she said he is then he would have wanted to end the divorce quickly and shut her up with money. Instead he took a public route so there’s 2 side to every story and if a celeb in South Korea who is supposed to get scandalised by dating or saying something off remark, and he chooses to go through the process, there’s something going on.

    • You should probably learn more about this guy before talking. He already had to step back due to allegations of his behavior in his job.

Plus women in Korea have very little power, it is a highly misogynistic society and it’s getting worse, not better.

      • @Ehhh – yeah abuse of power is a serious matter and if he was like that at his job i.e. in public, I’m not super surprised at this being how he is in private.

  8. I remember some time ago anonymous posts accused him of power abuse in his function as an university professor and ended up with him having to step down.
