Disgraced TW Veteran Variety Show Host Mickey Huang Under Further Investigation for Child Porn Video Purchases — 18 Comments

  1. This guy never stops giving headaches to hsi wife. She have apologise on his behalf after his bad deeds. Honestly I dont know if just how much love she has for him. But I would not have the same patience.

    Underage kids…that is disgusting.

  2. This is the most disgusting story I’ve heard in a while. Summer sister you should run! That guy is beyond saving

  3. I simply cannot understand how the wife still chose to stand by him. She has a daughter for goodness sake. I will never be able to trust this man with a child, even his own child. It’s so disgusting!

    • It’s more sad than funny, it’s like those Japanese celebrities’ wives who apologize after their husbands cheat on them

  4. What a disgusting, wicked man. I feel ill reading this.

What on earth is wrong with his wife? How can you stay with somebody like that and even allow your child around him?

  5. I am very sensitive about big age gaps, and I always wondered how people could be OK with pairings in shows like Goblin, Mr. Sunshine, Dating in the kitchen or Forbidden Flower. Like we all cry “pedo!” when the girl is 17, but as long as she’s 18, we go on “consenting adults” mode. No, a pairing between a 18-19 year old girl and a 30+ (let alone 40+) man is NOT romantic, even if the guy is “hot”.
And I sincerely hope this Mickey character did not have anything involving even younger girls, because if he did, he should rot in jail.

  6. Remember with Dan Schneider the biggest pedo producer in history who did many famous kid series, at least this creep got cancel

  7. This guy has always had a very tacky taste and looked vulgar in his shows. Now he’s got caught for what he has been appearing to be. So disgusting! I hope the court sentenced him with heavy penalty. But Taiwan legal system has been notorious for incompetency in voicing justice. He might be able to get away from his crimes with lenient penalty provisions.

      • They have very light sentences on fraudulent financial transactions such as insider trading etc. In the US, financial misconducts can render as many as 20 years of sentence in jail. But in Taiwan, criminals like that could sit behind bar for just a couple of years and came out still the wealthiest thug in their hometowns. LOL. There are some examples of former criminals even being voted into legislative branches to make laws after they came out of jails. LOL. Taiwanese citizens chide their judges to be “dinosaur judges,” meaning these Taiwanese judges are as outdated as dinosaurs. LMAO

      • BTW digress here. Did you mention being a fan of Park Seo Joon? I had never been his fan before but am becoming one. I finally started to watch Itaewon Class based upon good reviews. I’m hooked now and put hyped Queen of Tears on hold to binge IC. PSJ has been impressing me from the get-go of IC, way more than KSH in QoT. I’ll go back to pick up QoT again after finishing IC. But I don’t feel motivated to follow QoT ep after ep for now given that IC is more intriguing to me plot-wise and acting-wise.

QoT’s plot just has a lot of old concepts with similar tropes. If not for good acting from KSH and KJW, I might not be able to even watch 4 eps by now. I’ll watch QoT later on mainly because KJW’s scenes of being lost and confused in the countryside due to the episode of memory loss touched me. She was incredible in that scene and her dialogue with her hubby about that brought me to tears. KJW’s acting was very soulful in those scenes. So far as 4 eps of QoT that I have watched, I was once again more impressed by KSH’s leading lady than himself. LOL. He’s a great actor but somehow has become very predictable. On the other hand, KJW is more foreign to me and impressed me more in QoT.

      • @Somebody, yes I am a fan of Park Seo Joon, he is one actor I have a huge soft spot for. I like him in variety shows and a great number of dramas. Itaewon Class is good. I know you dont watch variety shows but him in Jinny’s Kitchen is just fun to watch. He is a good soul with a generous heart.

As for Queen of Tears…I am watching till it ends to binge it.🤣🤣
I dont feel the need to start early.

Back to Taiwan: During one of my visits to my granny in Taiwan over 15yrs ago. I turn on the telly and watched something unbelievable to me. Taiwan Members of Parliament fighting, throwing chairs, pulling hairs etc…I was in shock. I thought it was staged. But my granny said, that is real.
My granny say, there have been rich gang leader will paid to get votes to be Taiwan President so his crimes can be white washed. I never forgot the scenes.

      • @HL, not trying to get into politics of Taiwan here, but just to clarify something about the fights in Taiwan Legislative Yuan (equivalently British Parliament). It was part of the democracy in Taiwan that has brought Taiwan to where it is now that is still incredible even there are many flaws in the current system. Back in those years of dictatorship ruling Taiwan until the early years of democratic Taiwan, many political activists had to fight (literally physically scuffle) their lives all the way to get justice done or just bring injustice to public attention. What you saw on TV was exactly like that. That’s totally different from some gangsters or financial fraudsters being voted into parliament seats nowadays.

      • @Somebody, I can see the difference now. thank for clarifying. It was definitely a h*ll of a fight man… I was in shock. But I now know the reason to it.

    • I think the sick0 really got away. I think he got what is similar to UK’s suspended sentence… I may be wrong. But he is not jailed.
