Oh what a great surprise! This drama was announced two years ago and I’ve long since given up on airing or news and now we get the first stills woo hoo. Is It Coincidence starring Kim So Hyun and Chae Jong Hyeob dropped two official drama stills and both are just so cute, wholesome yet the chemistry between the two radiates from the still. I love this pairing and in a way that I’ve been meh about some of both of their individual past drama onscreen partners. This drama is about two former sweethearts that meet up again ten years later as adults. Yes yes this is a very common trope but in the hands of a delicate screenwriter and a strong OTP actors it’s always a satisfying watch.
Ohh thank God. I have been waiting and asking and anticipating. I’m super excited. I love Jong Hyeop with his precious smile, I also love baby girl so hyun. Let’s go loves, fighting!!
I still don’t see any concrete info on when and where it’s been released… I hope they can do that soon because the longer a drama/movie shelved, the more outdated it gets.
This looks super cute and I love Kim So Hyun in anything for the most part. I’m assuming this is OTT and not on tv, but if anyone has info, I’m all ears.
Might be ENA or tvn and ott will likely be viu/viki. Might broadcast around June/July.
ENA also announced their lineup but still no Is it fate? in sight. Maybe it won’t air this year too.
I saw one KSH IG fan account said it’s rumored to be a Disney+ original. Not sure if that’s true or not, but I’m still hoping Netflix picks this up, I have no Disney subscription 😭
Netflix and Disney already announced their lineup for this year so it won’t be possible. Netflix has a full lineup for 2025 as well and they haven’t been picking up any KSH dramas since 2019 so it most likely won’t happen.
@Clip Yeah I know, I’m just having a wishful thinking here haha. Also, if it was gonna be on Netflix, Netflix would’ve already been hyping it up now. Yes I also noticed they stopped picking up KSH dramas since LA2 ended. Wonder why is that? To think Love Alarm, say what you want about it, was one of Netflix’s early KDrama hits, you’d think Netflix would pick up more KSH dramas based off that, especially considering she has a huge international fanbase who would watch anything of her in Netflix 🤔

I think CJH had a great chemistry with Park Ju-Hyun in Love All Play and Park Eun-Bin in Castaway Diva. I didn’t finished Eyes to Love yet.
He’s a better actor than the last partner of KSH! I’m happy to see her with a good actor.

Looks cute! KSH in the first pic looks like her character in Page Turner while her look in the second pic reminds me of her look in Love Alarm season 2. Haven’t seen CJH in anything, so I have no expectations of him. Can’t wait!

I wonder it took so long to release? The plot sounds like a fun romcom. I like this pairing. CJH is a good actor and very charismatic and KSH is good too. I didn’t watch her previous drama due to the bland idol actor she was paired with but CJH can actually act so I look forward to this pairing.
