Byun Woo Seok Looks Like an Overgrown Earnest Puppy in First Guest Appearance on Yoo Quiz on the Block — 11 Comments

  1. i have so much fondness for him now. ryu sunjae is a character that won’t be forgotten for a long time. i’m equal parts curious and nervous about what he chooses to do next, bc it will make or break his place in the industry.

      • Wow, that sounds like a disaster for real. As much as I love him in LR, he needs to work on his enunciation, narration skills. Now add Jisoo to this!

      • there is virtually no news about this anywhere. did the fb tabloids pull it out of thin air?

      • @mimi google “byeon woo seok jisoo webtoon” and see the results. Its going viral on FB.

      • @Han I agree, he needs to avoid it for real.

He’s improved hugely since his early days (and credit to his efforts for that, he did it by taking on every role he could no matter how small, even a villain role) but the he still has a lot of room to get better and isn’t yet at the level where he can carry a drama independently of his costar’s skills or be paired up with some no-acting-skills pretty face and pull it off.

I’m not putting down BWS’s contribution to the chemistry and appeal of Lovely Runner btw, he makes a great leading man but Kim Hye Yoon is a great actress who absolutely can carry her part of the drama and then some, Jisoo…..not so much. Too many young actors have had one breakout role and then failed to sustain their momentum because they had one buzzy drama but then their next projects fizzled or tanked (Jang Dong Yoon after Tale of Nokdu being one example), it would be a waste for that to happen to BWS as well.

  2. He’s adorable…awww! Lovely Runner and it’s OTP are giving me the vibes & feels of my favorite dramas from 15+ yrs ago. That tall cutie even reminds me of some of my 1st drama crushes. LOL! 😍🤩

  3. @Gwen i saw a few tidbits but with no source, it just looks like fake news. i actually wouldn’t be totally opposed to this pairing, but it’s a risky one for sure. we’ll see what happens.
