Period C-drama Dashing Youth with Hou Ming Hao, He Yu, and Hu Lian Xin Scheduled for Late July Release on Youku Following The Princess Royal
The period C-drama Dashing Youth adapted from the novel Shao Nian Bai Ma Zui Chun Feng 少年白马醉春风 is headed to premiere having gotten the Youku slot following the conclusion of The Princess Royal. Starring Hou Ming Hao, He Yu, and Hu Lian Xin, the drama is about a young master who just wants to make wine but ends up being a martial artist and has to save his best friend from turning evil and starting a war. This drama is not as high profile but doesn’t look too low budget, and I love He Yu so maybe will check it out.

I actually want to watch this. I enjoyed Blood of Youth, so I’m hoping this will be a fun watch too.
This is related to blood of youth? If I’m not mistaken a prequel of sorts? If so then it should be interesting.
Yes! It is the prequel and tells the story of the Xueyue leaders.
I think the story setting plays 20 years before the first sequel
Seems kinda spoilers and not so interesting for viewers who have watched The Blood of Youth as we would have already knew some of a few characters’ saddening ending like who would die, why they die, how’s their life when they are old etc from TBOY.
The last ten high-budget dramas I’ve seen have bored me, I dropped all of them. So I don’t necessarily care if they’re S or S+ anymore.
