First Look at Xiao Zhan as Guo Jing in the Upcoming C-movie Legend of the Condor Heroes: The Great Hero
Am I excited for this movie? Oh hells yeah, but I’m also accepting that trying to create a zeitgeist is lightning in a bottle and keeping expectations low is best. The first substantive trailer is out for the lunar new year scheduled big budget big name cast Legend of the Condor Heroes: The Great Hero based on a section of the novel of the same name by write Louis Cha (Jing Yong). The movie comes from acclaimed HK director Tsui Hark and puts top C-drama actor Xiao Zhan in the role of earnest and patriotic Guo Jing. The trailer shows that the movie isn’t trying to idol anything and the character look gritty and ready for battle. I don’t know how much this movie will hit for those unfamiliar with the source material but for those who know all the main and side characters it really slaps hard.

I have been waiting so long. Luckily there were the Double and Blossom to fill the void in the meanwhile.
He doesn’t look like delicate XZ but makes more sense as GJ though. The trailer has every bit of HK Wuxia vibe back in the genre’s golden-age heyday, classical and nostalgic. Not sure if the movie will be appealing to younger gen but definitely will intrigue me who used to be an avid reader of Louis Cha’s Condor Trilogy. I hope Netflix will buy the streaming right of the movie. There won’t be confusion in the movie title like Blossom. No worries. LMAO.

Tsui Hark is Legendary in Chinese/Hongkong films Industry, seen all his Movies and with Xiao Zhan as the Main role.. I cannot wait to see this!!!

Others wise I m also feel like dying. I watch him in the longest promise he dies in the drama and I feel sad after one month like untamed he doesn’t die in that but everyone doesn’t believe in him.my heart gonna come out with sadness and crying 😭 I just hope this drama gonna bhi happy ending 😍🥰but still this drama going to rocking.yeah

The directing and special effect choice does seem old school, I won’t probably watch this, but it should be a solid production
