There is another sad news out of K-ent this week and its the passing of a singer that I remember his OST songs so well is some of my favorite K-dramas. R&B and ballad singer Wheesung has passed away, having been found deceased in his home and the cause of death is under investigation though it’s being initially identified as cardiac arrest. He was 43- years old and had been in the industry for around 25 years with a variety of ballad and R&B songs, and performed a handful of OST singles for K-dramas that put him more on the radar with a broader audience. He did have legal troubles with a drug charge over a decade ago for propofol use and in 2020 additional drug incidents after being found unconscious. It’s always hard to write about a passing and I hope he rests in peace and condolences to his friends and family.
