Garo Sero Institute Releases New Picture Allegedly of Kim Soo Hyun Cheek Kissing Kim Sae Ron and Text Message From Her Pleading for Help on the Debt Repayment Demand
Well, unless Kim Soo Hyun and his agency Gold Medalist sues all the parties involved and gets a full retraction and apology, its hard to believe this was all made up and nothing happened with him and now deceased young actress Kim Sae Ron. Just saying it’s all lies is not enough with so much information out there and now pictures released. Today the Youtube channel Garo Sero Institute posted a picture allegedly of Kim Soo Hyun kissing Kim Sae Ron on the cheek, and I say allegedly because it’s not authenticated but one does have eyes, and if he keeps denying everything he’s going to have to bring receipts because this is all so damning for him and must’ve been so sad and awful for her. It says the picture is from 2016 about a year after the two started dating, and allegedly they started dating in November of 2015 when he was 27 and she was 15 (in 9th grade). The picture appears to be from the same time frame as the one Kim Sae Ron posted last year, he has the same haircut and they appear to be wearing the same color and style t-shirts. Garo Sero also posted a screenshot of the text message Kim Sae Ron texted to Kim Soo Hyun after she got the debt repayment demand from Gold Medalist pleading for his help and asking for time (it’s translated below). If all the allegations are true, it’s really hard to imagine Kim Soo Hyun’s career can survive being labeled a pedophile for dating Kim Sae Ron when she was legally underage and also for his callousness in treating her after their breakup and during her drunk driving scandal. Sigh, I learned this lesson through many years of covering the scandals and downfalls of K-ent and C-ents formerly top stars and still it’s always a moment of shock and nausea when a new one gets revealed to be total trash as a person behind the scenes.
“Oppa, this is Sae Ron. I received the letter of certification today, that [your company] is suing me. You said that you would give me ample time, so I’m working hard, preparing to make a comeback. I will pay you back with a percentage from each work. I’m not saying that I won’t pay you back, but if you suddenly ask for [krw]7 ok[/krw] right now, I really can’t do anything. It’s not that I won’t, but I can’t. Do you really have to take it as far as a lawsuit? Please save me… I beg of you. Give me some time.”

It’s already awful enough to be grooming (NOT dating!) a young teenager, but if all allegations are true, he pretty much drove the poor girl to her death. This is not just awful — it is absolutely horrifying! After years of having the “highest paid actor” title, everyone already knows he’s rich af and that amount of money was barely anything to him. If this is all true, he deserves to get cancelled and banned from the entertainment industry. She ended up taking her life with everybody still cursing at her and he was living the charmed life at the top of his career as Korea’s golden boy. Now it makes sense why she committed suicide on his birthday. That was her one tiny measure of revenge. Even then he still didn’t even have the decency to send a personal wreath or attend her funeral and was having fun all week.
There have been whispered rumours about him for years, not to mention that creepy statement he made years ago about wanting to marry a girl half his age. I have side-eyed him ever since he produced that garbage, sexist film “Real”. Like, he really saw that misogynistic script and went out of his way to make it. Poor Sulli (may she RIP) got savaged for her role in it and he did absolutely nothing to help or support her. Her reputation and career were destroyed and, meanwhile, he and that hanger-on cousin of his emerged unscathed despite the fact that the film completely flopped in every way.
Some blame lies with her family too for not protecting her from this man from the emotional and professional exploitation but that is symptomatic of the messed up dynamic that can often happen in families when the chid is the main breadwinner. At least her family have exposed him now but it’s scary that they had to resort to a YouTuber because he has too much influence and the media wouldn’t run this story. I think behind the scenes KSH will try to pay the family and Youtuber off to not expose anymore because I bet there is a lot more dirt and proof considering they were together for so long.

As someone who works in PR, this case truly baffles me. Obviously shocking, but on top of that, the way it’s being handled is rather absurd too. KSH and his agency came out with a very strong refusal of everything accused even after the YouTuber threatened they have tons of evidence straight from the source. Why in the world would they not just either stfu, try to settle or come up with some sort of damage control tactic by accepting parts of it by creating a somewhat plausible story? What now…? Are they going to accept they lied? That’s what standing out for me. The PR teams in SK are so incompetent and I realized that during the Han SoHee debacle even if that’s obviously a far different context. Garosero doesn’t have good reputation. They’re very scandalous journalists, and they made scandalous articles about female celebrities, claimed one youtube blogger made abortion (as if this is someone’s business). Made scandalous articles about Han Ye Seul. Both of them sued Garosero.

These allegations are truly heartbreaking. I liked KSH as an actor, even though I was not exactly a huge fan. Also, as far as i know KSR’s family doesn’t gave the best reputation, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they were aware of everything but chose to be silent because of fame and money.
Btw, how did her financial condition get this bad? She has been working as a child actress so, she must have had savings.She has two younger sisters too, right? Don’t they work? Was she the only person working in her family? And where did thus Aunt come from? Did she know about the grooming from the start or only now?
If she was aware of it earlier, did she try to help KSR? Because if her parents and relatives knew about this but did nothing, I would consider them responsible as well. It really seems like KSR was let down by all the people around her.
KSR has been so let down by everyone concerned. The pictures are damning – a 27 year old has no business taking pictures with a 15 year old like that. Questions must be asked about how much her family knew of this and how they could possibly let this go on. There’s a case to be made that any inaction on the part of her own family (if they knew about it at the time – which I’m not saying they did) is gross negligence or complicity in statutory rape. Then there’s the whole “being managed by his agency” thing – it is a complete abuse of power. How can an agent claim to act in the interest of their client if the client is in a relationship with the owner of that agency and their biggest star. The power disparity is shocking and again, complete neglect by everyone in her life in letting her go to his agency. The truth is they *all* played a role in her sad end. Will K-ent ever learn? I doubt it.

@HL,most people tend to let down persons who are in distress , sad but true, because sometimes they are struggling themselves or just because they just don’t care . We can’t say what kind of relationship she had with her family as some teens and even more in the case of the ones who entered K entertainment as children tend to became adults breadwinner too soon . I may be wrong, it’s just a thought , a teenager in love feels it more deeply than an adult, it’s all about passion, giving the everything, if KSH was his boyfriend and left her at her lowest , i can’t imagine how she must have felt, reaching for family it’s also hard because of judgement , not everyone has understanding and empathic parents… no need the medias harrassement…an explosive cocktail …not everyone is strong minded , she sendt SOS …and only got haters …Sad .

Honestly I don’t think an entertainment company will allow their biggest stat to date a minor when even dating an adult in k entertainment is an issue.This issue really needs to be carefully looked at before we make the same mistake over and over again,Lost of lives have been lost because we are quick to make assumptions about people and their jobs,we don’t know them personally to say they are bad people or not.Kim when she was alive was also destroyed by rumors just like others before her, justice is not to destroy someone but to make sure that people are able to learn from the others mistakes and not repeat it.
