C-actress Zhou Ye Radiates Glamour Attending the 2025 Cannes Film Festival
While being super addicted to currently airing C-drama The Prisoner of Beauty, I’m still majorly anticipating and excited for the adaptation of Legend of the Female General as I love that novel even more. The drama was supposed to air around lunar new year earlier this year but was pulled due to scandal of the supporting male lead and his role has since been re-filmed with another actor. Word is that Legend will air next month in June and I pray so hard it happens. Female lead Zhou Ye was banking on the role being her breakout and if she delivers it should be as He Yan is such a fun heroine to root for. This past week Zhou Ye was in France attending the Cannes Film Festival as a guest of L’Oreal and C-netizens thought she looked regal and stately with her structured strapless white dress and statement chokers. I don’t particularly like the dress but thought overall she looked beautiful.
The supporting lead just got angry over how he felt he was unfairly treated in the industry. He was known to be quite hard to work with. But all are just rumours I read about, unsure of real truth. But I have personally read afew of his online outburst and insults.
I actually did like him in Go Go Squid, I felt he has some spark.
Wish him well in whatever he does in future.
Zhou Ye does indeed look regal. I like her classic beauty. But not a fan of the upper part of the dress. The bust section is not flattering at closer view.

She’s always stunning on the red carpet and just knows how to work the camera. That pearl necklace is so pretty.
The dress looks like it is falling and her bra is getting exposed lol but she looks pretty though.
The exposed bra looks tacky for a formal wear.
