tvN Starts Promos for Summer 2025 Weekend K-drama Law and the City with Lee Jong Seok and Moon Ga Young
It’s still a month away before the arrival of Law and the City (Korean title Seochodong named after the Seoul neighborhood) on tvN weekend Sat-Sun timeslot. I’m guessing it’s an area with a lot of law firms so apropos for a legal drama centering around a quirky young group of lawyers at the same law firm. It’s Lee Jong Seok return to the small screen in three years since Big Mouth in 2022 and pairs him with talented Moon Ga Young who always delivers on both character and chemistry. Rounding out the cast is Ryu Hye Young, Kang You Seok, and Im Sung Jae. The first teaser just cutely gives glimpses of each of the five leads as the camera moves up the law firm floors.

All I can say is I think Im going to like styling of this drama a lot more than recent series. Except the hair of secondary actress? Her styling is also great but that hair cut has to go.
I wondered what had happened to Ryu Hye Young. This is her first role in a proper drama since Law School 4 years ago. Law School was a sleeper success with a great cast and people loved the young cast and their chemistry. But for some reason the only actor from the student cast who really seemed to benefit from its success was Go Youn Jung.
