Multiple Lawsuits in the Kim Soo Hyun Allegedly Dated Underage Kim Sae Ron Scandal Now Involves Court Seizures of Property as the Cases Continue
This is only the beginning part of any lawsuit so don’t take it as a sign of which way the cases will be adjudicated. There are so many lawsuits in the mess of a scandal that arose from allegations last March that top actor Kim Soo Hyun dated now deceased actress Kim Sae Ron when she was underage and just 15 years old. There are lawsuits from his agency Gold Medalist against Kim Se Ui the Youtuber of Garo Sero Institute as well as Kim Sae Ron’s family. And there are lawsuits from Kim Sae Ron’s family against Kim Soo Hyun. And there are lawsuits from various companies against Gold Medalist and Kim Soo Hyun for breach of contract as he’s lost nearly all his over twenty brand deals. Last week two companies Classys and Cuckoo Electronics applied for and was granted a court seizure of Kim Soo Hyun’s real property assets (apartments) in their respective breach of contract lawsuits alleging millions in damages and penalties against Kim Soo Hyun. On the other side, Gold Medalist was also granted their seizure application of Kim Se Ui’s assets during its lawsuit. Such petitions are granted fairly often as a precaution for the defendant transferring assets out leaving nothing left for a successful plaintiff to collect in the event of a judgment against the defendant.
It’s sad that Kim Sae Ron had to die for him to get some semblance of justice.

It’s interesting that the seizure for KSH’s property has to do with his ads and the losses (as in, regardless of him being guilty or not, breach or contract is based on keeping an image pristine). On the other hand, Kim Seui’s seizures has to do with KSH/GM applying for it (as in, directly related to the case).
There was news that Kim Seui has still now responded to the Gangnam police and yet to give his statement. The public sentiment is definitely swaying in the past month which isn’t good for KSR’s family. It’s not exactly Kim Seui vs KSH. It’s KSR’s family vs KSH and should stay that way.
In my opinion, I don’t know is it public sentiment swaying or did his PR team just take this chance to hire more water army to say good things about KSH. Since the start of the scandal, there had been more favorable articles about him than negative ones and even the stock manipulation, tax evasion rumors were only briefly reported. On the other hand, each week we got news about KSR having a new bf or husband for the past months and his fans and clout constantly spread bad news about her, making her the bad person and him being the victim
Rolling stone -Actually, nope. Not only article comments but even SNS comments are definitely swaying towards him. Going through Qoo comments on the Kim Seui seizure article, it was 400+ and 50/50 in support of KSH. That’s not ‘PR’ – just a fact anyone can look up anytime. I have family in Busan and when we talk about it, there’s definitely a sentiment of wait and watch vs before we were all wanting him to fuck right off the industry.
Leona – define ‘normal viewer’. I am a ‘normal viewer’ if you mean that as someone who is watching from the sideline and has no stakes. Normal viewers don’t have a side other than hoping for the truth to come out. Frankly, I’m not naive to be swayed by PR tactics. Most viewers aren’t like you yourself said. So if ppl are starting to get swayed, there’s a reason. Personally, I still think he’s guilty but I’ll be waiting on the courts to make that final decision because I’m also starting to realized I may have been manipulated.
Based on comments I read from normal viewers, there is no or little change in sentiment against KSH. He is still viewed as evil and the articles are believed to be a PR strategy to change the sentiment. People are smart now to be swayed by these PR tactics.
@hmm, Korean defamation laws favor rich and powerful so if he wins in court, that still doesn’t make him morally right. He met KSR as a little girl and he sent her military letters, asked her to come over to his place in the middle of night Which other friend has he done that to? If he hasn’t lied so many times in the beginning denying the relationship, he may have more credibility.
If you feel “manipulated” by Garo, the same thing can be said that Lee Jin Ho is trying to manipulate the public since he kept on making KsR a slut and helping Ksh all the time.
When you say qoo articles favored Ksh when the Garo seizures articles were out, I also saw some qoo comments supporting cuckoo making the right decision when cuckoo said they filed a lawsuit to seize KsH’s properties.
At this point, most people will either believe Ksh or not believe him. If you’re his fan, you will probably be on his side.

@Hmmm, are you KSH’s fan? If you believe he is guilty, you would not say you may be manipulated. How is it not PR? Naver only made his articles trended and anything from Garo did not make it to top 10 when the scandal broke out in March. (I remember checking) There were rumors awhile back saying he has an entire team planted in various social media platforms saying good things about him. X, FB, IG have a lot of new baby accounts supporting him. His team literally silenced those with a lot of followers on Weibo who reported content from Garo or anything in disagreement with him. (I also checked this myself)
KSR never had a dating scandal when she was alive. After KSH’s pedo allegations came into light in March, we learned about all the possible relationships she had in the past in an effort to show KSH did not date her as a minor. His muppet youtuber talked trash about her, then Money talk started saying the same thing. Why do we need to know that after she passed. If this is not PR, what is this called? Only KSH benefit the most at the end. PR work not only involves saying good things about him but also trying to make the public think the other side (KSR) is bad so the sentiment will shift toward him.
The fact that dispatch knew about their relationship but did not report it showed KSH has strong backing.

I’m not here to change anyone’s mind. You do you. If you want to believe one party is guilty without bothering for the court’s decision – which would present all evidence from both sides – then that’s your prerogative. Same for your friends in Korea. I, on the other hand, will wait for the court to do what they are supposed to do.
I was thinking he must have made lots of money over the years…the 2 companies still need to seize his property to get compensation off him. I was surprised.
Believe KSH defaulted and refused the penalty payments so the companies resorted to property seizures.

it’s probably hard for him to be buried because we have seen a lot of Korean actors with scandals come back successfully like Lee Byung Hun, Yoo Ahn in, Kim Seon Ho, etc. Kim soo hyun’s fans already are whitewashing his image daily and saying he already is winning and knock off will air soon

Facts: KSH was previously Dinto’s ambassador. Dinto’s CEO was a big KSH fan and openly claimed so. Some accused her of supporting him even after the accusations came out. After that spread, she made the statement you are talking about. Anyone with even a pea sized brain knows it has to do with the KSH situation. Let’s not be naive here. KSH fans are absolutely ridiculous because she doesn’t owe anyone an apology, however, she never owed that statement to those who demanded it either.
You sound like you’re getting manipulated instead of looking at things with an unbiased lens. If you don’t know what’s happening (clearly the case here), ask your Korean friends.
