Leads of K-drama Goblin Gong Yoo, Kim Go Eun, Lee Dong Wook, and Yoo In Na to Reunite for tvN Travelogue Special Commemorating 10th Anniversary
Oh this is going to be both nostalgically sweet and fun to watch. tvN is set to produce a special travelogue episode featuring top stars Gong Yoo, Kim Go Eun, Lee Dong Wook, and Yoo In Na, the leads of the hit 2016 K-drama Goblin in order to commemorate the show’s 10th anniversary this year. The four will visit key filming spots of the drama and reminisce and share stories from the filming days. Gong Yoo and Lee Dong Wook became very close friends in real life after the drama so they will definitely showcase the same great bromance onscreen, and it’ll be fun to see Kim Go Eun and Yoo In Na also revisit their characters that helped each become more famous.
I guess I was in the minority in that I could not finish this show and dropped it after a few episode. Did not find any chemistry btw the leads and found their relationship so cringe aka Edward and Bella vibes. The most Intersting characters were Gong Yoo and Lee dong wook who had better chemistry than the leads.
My sister loved it and kept urging me to watch it. I tried several times but couldn’t get into it too… until I read a spoiler that got me interested to try again and manage to finish it at last.
It’s still NOT my favorite Kim Eun Sook drama but I like it enough to understand now why people love it.
okay good to know I wasn’t alone. I have liked Kim eu sooks other work but it’s just such a hit and miss. Ex Loved Descendants but couldn’t finish Genie or this.
I love this drama. I’ve seen a lot of times. I’ve always been a gong yoo fan since coffee prince now I’m a huge Kim Go eun fan. She is by far the best in her generation. She can do any genre and she gets on well with her co stars and remained so humble. I ship these two actually lol. I can’t wait for this.
Kim go eun has really become such a top actress since then in both movies and tv. It is between her and Kim tae ri as generational rivalry for top spot.
Gong yoo got so many cf deals for years after this, he never bothered with acting again. I hope he makes a big push again next year. Don’t want him to be won bin
Ohhh how I lovee goblin. I remember the feels, balling my eyes out when the goblin bride died and gong yoo was absolutely destroyed. Whenever anyone ask for a kdrama recommendation from me, I always begin by asking’have you seen goblin’. I am so confident in this drama, it was an easy 10/10. I remember being in awe of everyone especially gong yoo and Kim go Eun. I had seen cheese in the trap by Kim go Eun and thought she was a good actress, after goblin, I was convinced she was a great actress. Till tomorrow, I tell anyone that cares to hear that Kim go Eun is in top three of Koreans greatest actresses of all time, and I stand by that. I remember my friend saying she was seeing reviews that said go Eun didn’t act well and she had no chemistry with gong yoo, and I told her then, that those people either didn’t watch the drama or knew absolutely nothing about acting. Years later she watches Kim go eun’s latest drama, the one she has short hair and her latest, not counting yumi cells that’s coming out soon, and she was in awe of Kim go Eun🤣. I laughed easily and said the girl has been mvp since day 1. Anyways, goblin is absolutely that drama for me. I would always rewatch it, but skip the last episodes, cause I cried every dang time 🤣🤣. Aigooo
I’ve never been able to watch this drama beyond ep 1 even giving it several tries after fans raved about it. The leads had no appeal to me from the get-go in the drama. But later I agreed KGE is a good actress thanks to her drama with Lee Minho. Goblin is just not my cup of tea.
