Tencent Period C-drama Mo Li with Bai Lu and Cheng Lei Reportedly to Premiere Next Month June 2026
Whenever aBai Lu starring drama airs I get excited because it’s bound to elicit buzz and that’s always good for spicing up C-drama land. Tencent is reportedly slating Mo Li (莫离) for next month sometime in June 2026 to premiere, which would start off this summer reason with a big drama. The drama stars Bai Lu with Cheng Lei in a get married first set up then all in love and of course later band together to vanquish their foes and live happily ever after. I like both stars separately and together I hope they have strong chemistry and are given a great story with characters I root for.

I usually fine with BL acting despite people’s criticism and I always trust CL acting. So it’s the script And the potential reverse harem that I heard about are what I afraid of. But Please be good because I love arranged marriage trope
They have no chemistry. And chemistry’s crucial for this drama.
Bai Lu has the same lazy, bored delivery for every drama.
Spa bath scenes are now a formulaic trope in costume romance dramas. Just like “love” or “blossom” abused in English titles, THIS will be popular for a while. lol.. That’s all I want to say!
I’m liking the palette – less glossy and saturated than expected. Hope the story is good!
I feel like Bailu always play a similar character. She always wearing a full makeup even while sleeping and I can’t stand her red bright lipstick, nothing new here and with overused plot. I will skip.
