The number of dramas that Meng Zi Yi has been in talks for or cast in since she leveled up with Blossom is just insane, and for me it’s annoying since I don’t like her as an actress but now have to see her everywhere. She’s currently filming the drama adaptation of The Rebirth of the Malicious Empress of Military Lineage and after that she’s reuniting with Li Yun Rui for a period drama. Now C-casting says she has pencil signed on for a modern romance C-drama titled Endless Summer (无尽夏 Wu Jin Xia) and her male lead will be Ding Yu Xi. Talk about another mismatch, I thought her and Dylan in Malicious Empress was already bad. If she wants to be top billed then it’s going to be hard to find same level male leads so her dramas will feel like throwing darts at a male lead turning dart board.
