This week C-ent casting rumors says Youku is set to announce the leads of its big budget xianxia C-drama The Adventure of Jian Chou 朝花不见愁 based on the novel I Won’t Be Immortal 我不成仙 as Zhao Lu Si and Song Wei Long. These two have been earlier rumored for another drama Inverted Fate so this isn’t a big surprise to see productions want them together, but that it’s close to happening is since these days every big name star gets floated for every drama in various combos. If they do accept it’s a reunion of sorts from the C-drama Untouchable Lovers where he was the male lead and she had a supporting role.

Looking forward ZLS coming back, though we probably won’t see this for another year. As for SWL – he’s not distractingly terrible and with ZLS leading it, I’m guessing the FL role will be bigger.
Better not be The Last Immortal 2.0. I’m indifferent to SWL.
