So nothing about this drama is confirmed yet but as always the casting rumors are close to the final selections. Modern romance C-drama As Beautiful as You Want (要多美丽就多美丽) adapted from a Yi Shu novel has been softly inked for Zhao Lu Si since the spring. Production has firmed up a filming start date which is usually due to financing reasons and lately it’s clear the money is tighter in C-drama land with fewer big budget dramas starting to film in sprawling Hendian studios. This week there is talk that either Xu Kai or Wei Zhe Ming will be the male lead, very difficult actors with wholly disparate vibes to say the least. The drama is about a pair of successful twin sisters (one a plastic surgeon the other a veterinarian) as they navigate their professional and romantic differences, and without reading the novel I wonder if there is room for two co male leads with two separate pairings.
