Kim Yoo Jung Captures Pure Teen Romance in Poster and Preview for Netflix Movie 20th Century Girl with Byun Woo Seok and Park Jung Woo
This upcoming Netflix K-movie looks so sweet and darling, evincing the same playbook as many such predecessors which take the young love from an earlier era and bring it forth to today as adults. Introduction to Architecture did it with juxtaposing time periods but for 20th Century Girl it looks like the movie will stick with the 1999 period high school years led by Kim Yoo Jung in a love triangle between Byun Woo Seok and Park Jung Woo and her friendship with Roh Yoon Seo. There will be cameos by Han Hyo Joo, Gong Myung, and Ong Seung Woo which leads me to think they are playing the adult versions of the leads in 2019. I also think its sweet for a third go-around of Kim Yoo Jung playing the younger version of Han Hyo Joo, doing it when she was a kid for Iljimae and Dong Yi and now its swapped as this movie is more Han Hyo Joo playing the adult version of Kim Yoo Jung who the story revolves around. The movie will be released on October 21st on Netflix.

I’m really excited to watch it!
But I’m disapointed by the fact they changed the actors for the adult version. It was why I never could completely love the TW movie Our Times. The scenes are too short to find the same chemistry.
