I’m thrilled to see K-actress Kim Hyo Jin back to regular acting rotation, after she married Yoo Ji Tae in 2011 she retired from the public eye for basically 8 years with sporadic smaller projects but since 202 has been back to doing like 1 drama a year. For 2023 she’s joining Park Eun Bin in the upcoming second chance at dreams drama Diva of the Deserted Island. Kim Hyo Jin will play the now bas been diva that was once Park Eun Bin’s idol and role model when she was a teen from a remote island that spurred her to travel to Seoul to audition for an idol program. Park Eun Bin gets shipwrecked on a deserted island for 15 years and after rescue arrives in Seoul still with her dreams intact and ends up meeting her idol and revitalizes her to also reclaim her dreams. These two ladies jazzing each other up sounds like sparks and heartwarming growth are in store.
