Park Min Young routinely tops the Japan polls of favorite K-actresses so it’s no surprise to see her this week in Tokyo for a cosmetics brand CF event. She rocked a cutout black dress with open sides and back and a high slit, it was sexy without being over the top. Her elegant makeup and simple low pony rounded out the look and it was nice seeing her back to promoting after her last drama coincided with the scandal around her then ex-boyfriend who is now indicted in South Korea for a litany of financial frauds. K-netizens are mostly iffy about her but it doesn’t appear her star power has been affected in Japan.

Unpopular opinion, but I don’t get the comments saying she looks very different. I mean, she definitely did tons of surgeries in the past, I’m not denying that, but I don’t think she did something major recently, probably just some maintenance procedures like tightening of jawline, etc., to stay youthful-looking, but her features look pretty much the same.

Same here. Women especially tend to be very vicious and mean towards women who are older but not old enough to be old (35 to 55). The level of verbal cruelty aimed at women by women is shocking. Just see the comments on SHK in this website.
