Poster and Preview for SBS Modern Romance K-drama Our Movie with Namgoong Min and Jeon Yeo Bin Convoy Warmth and Lingering Sadness
It’s been slow for me in K-drama land but with the end of May arrival of Good Boy on jTBC and then the mid-June arrival of Our Movie on SBS there are two dramas I’m looking forward to that could potential hold my interest. Our Movie from synopsis sounds like a true classic melo, with Namgoong Min playing a movie director in a slump whose next film about an incurable terminal illness finds him working with Jeon Yeo Bin‘s actress with an actual incurable terminal illness. She doesn’t need method acting for sure but these two stars are such strong actors I can’t wait to see how they potentially spark onscreen and push each other to best heights for what sounds like a sad story but worth the journey undertaken for the characters and viewers alike.

I really wanna watch this because NGM is doing romance and I like JYB. But I really hate terminal disease trope
same. I bet they could really make the trope work and succeed at it, but I’m not in the mood for terminal illness.
NGM is a very versatile actor. Am sure will need to standby boxes of tissue with sad ending
I hope it’s not the kind of terminal illness trope that will drag on for until the last 2 episodes then be miraculously cured so they can get their happy ending.
