So filming has been chugging along for modern romance C-drama Dazzling starring Guan Xiao Tong and Li Yun Rui, with mostly their fans doing day-to-day updates. But this week it went buzzy all over C-ent thanks to the two leads filming a kiss scene. The scene was shot over many hours and had dozens of takes, from close ups to pulled out shots and was filmed for so long it went from afternoon sun to sun setting to dark. And word from the set is that the two were majorly kissing for real as required by the script and director, which is great for the viewers to have a real product onscreen but not so much for Guan Xiao Tong’s long time boyfriend Luhan lol. His fans don’t like her anyways and have been tagging him to that his GF is making out with another dude. Lol, such shit stirrers, and ultimately it’s just a day’s work for any actor or actress as required for a role.

  1. I thought people were speculating that gxt and lh broke up when gxt didn’t post her usual bday greeting for him lol

    • I keep seeing rumors about their breakup too but I guess it’s all speculation(?) because neither side responded and nothing was confirmed.

  2. I personally thought GXT showed a lot of promise as a teen actress. I don’t know what happened but she seems to have lost that acting spark after transitioning to adult roles. I also think she often lacks chemistry with her co-stars in romance themes. Dramas like to sell kissing scenes but I personally prefer acting chemistry to actual physical intimacy onscreen. Without the emotional output of being in character, any intimate scene is just another mechanical action anyway lol. Plus, netizens tend to forget that the final product has to pass review and censorship.

  6. I personally also prefer great chemistry over intimate scenes. Shining for one thing for example. It didnt have any ‘intimate’ scene but oh My, their love was beautifully written.

    Another example, Mr Sunshine, a Korean drama starring Lee Byung Hun and Kim Taeri. My goodness, without intimate scenes, the romance kept romancing.

    Is there any other drama like that? Hard to find nowadays.

    • When you talk about great chemistry, you certainly can’t omit the YiYan couple. Their love story was beautifully written, going through puppy love, trials and tribulations, and ultimately redemption. Their sense of CP was so strong, it makes you want to fall in love just from watching them. Every look, every hug, even a delicate and gentle caress makes people deeply feel the love and lust between the two. Every emotional interaction is as sultry as lightning. You can feel the ubiquitous emotional flow when they appear onscreen together. A truly unforgettable onscreen couple.

      • Are you referring to Si Feng and Xuan Ji? Cheng Yi and Yuan Bing Yan were amazing in their roles. They are my favorite xianxia couple!
